"Se son rose, fioriranno"
It began with a lighthearted joke, shared on a sun-drenched afternoon a decade ago. The words Dopo Sesso were imagined playfully, stitched in our minds onto the soft terry of a bathrobe. Just a phrase, or so it seemed.
But some ideas don’t leave. They linger - like the taste of salt on your lips after a swim, like sun on bare shoulders long after the sun has set.
Months later - Polignano a Mare. August. The air thick with the heat of the south, the kind that softens the hours and slows your breath.
The sea, a sheet of glass, stretching endlessly, catching every glint of the afternoon sun. The smell of sunscreen, of salt and lemon on the breeze. A table shaded from the sun, set with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes still warm from the vine, handmade pasta glistening with olive oil. You wear an expensive watch, but you don’t care enough to look at it. Iced San Pellegrino in your hand, droplets sliding down the glass, untouched, forgotten, because in that moment, time didn’t matter.
As the sky blushes pink over the Adriatic, as the day exhales into dusk, she hands me the gift. A bathrobe, simple, white, but made remarkable by what it carries. Across the back: Dopo Sesso. Stitched by hand, one letter at a time, night after night. A gesture of love, of devotion, of faith. A promise written in thread.
I wore it everywhere. Down to the beach, where the sun kisses your lips and through the narrow streets of the old town, where the air smells of lemons and the sea breeze tangles your hair. And wherever we went, laughter, whistles, smiles. People saw it as an ode to life - Never rush what was made to be savored.

Today, Dopo Sesso is a brand shaped by that same devotion. Designed between Berlin, Como, and Milano, brought to life by designers whose hands have shaped collections for the great houses of haute couture. Crafted in Portugal with bio-cotton of the highest grade, under fair conditions, with respect for every hand that touches the fabric.
